BSP needs peace and must close all fronts against the other left formations .
This opinion was expressed to the BNR by the journalist Alexander Simov, a member of the National Council of the BSP and the city organization of the party.
BSP will give clear signs of thawing its relations with the president as well, he hinted.
The party will offer a good-faith conversation to all formations on the left, announced Simov. According to him, ordinary socialists withdraw from voting because they do not understand why the left is divided and has opened so many fronts.
Regarding the groups of the red barons, the liberal wing, the faction that wants to collaborate with Rumen Radev, the journalist stated that "the battle with the red oligarchs has been won" and they have no say in the BSP.
The journalist pointed out that the attempt to pit all groups against each other has led to a historic bottom – below 10% in parliamentary elections.
Not a single argument in response to the question "why are you at war with the president" does not take hold, pointed out Alexander Simov. He himself has no explanation for the beginning of the conflict between Ninova and Radev and called this opposition "one of the mysteries in the Bulgarian transition".
"It is high time to understand that this front must be closed. We must close our front lines in left space."
There is a battle for supremacy over who keeps the people they can take out. This is an attempt by the traditional left – right to be shifted into another plane: liberal – conservatively, said Alexander Simov regarding the March for the Family and "Sofia Pride" taking place in parallel on the same day.
"To formulate the Bulgarian political opposition in a new way. Such a process is taking place all over the world, but in Bulgaria the parties have not yet rearranged themselves."
The Bulgarian left does not carry that liberal charge, which is present in other lefts in the EU, he specified. According to him, the MEPs were not indicative of the BSP in this regard, and this understanding in the BSP cannot be easily changed.
Cornelia Ninova is not a victim of the BSP, Simov is categorical, who finds "such pathos in the media".
"There was no attempted coup, Night of the Long Knives in "Positano", the journalist stressed in the program "Politically INCORRECT"
The attempt to hysterize the process is illogical. The hysterization comes from people close to Ninova, especially from Kaloyan Metodiev, he expressed his position.
"Cornelia Ninova brought a fresh stream to the BSP when she became the chairman. It was a way for the BSP to be tight, gathered as a party," reports Simov. According to him, the problem came when, in her role as a leader, she became the opposition of herself a few years ago.
As an organizational problem of these elections, the journalist outlined the appearance of Kaloyan Metodiev in the lists of the civil quota and criticized Ninova's choice of which list to enter the parliament, so as to clear the way for Metodiev to become a deputy.
So far, Kornelia Ninova has systematically entered from Sofia, and the way in which Metodiev entered the lists – "Behind the back of the entire party is unacceptable," commented Alexander Simov.
"Kaloyan Metodiev has got his career wrong. This imagination should be concerned with literature, not politics," he added. According to him, Metodiev would be a master of "political thrillers".
"Kaloyan Metodiev is the symptom of the disease that has been shaking the BSP in recent years."
Regarding the hypothesis of an outsider leading the BSP, for example Iliana Yotova, Simov commented that "BSP should start thinking about the whole constellation of alternatives it has".
"As of now, no one has ruled out Cornelia Ninova from potential competition. No one has tried to wage war against it. If Cornelia Ninova appears, in the name of what will she appear? It's high time someone brought a new style and meaning to the party."
Simov does not think that a presidential project can ruin the BSP if it starts working with the left-wing formations with which it has been fighting for years.
"Unified, they will beat us a lot,", he warned.
