Ibrahim Zaidenov and Tanzer Yuseinov in front of FACTS: In DPS we have no doubts about choosing between Dr. Dogan and an - 1

Not a day goes by when someone from the DPS parliamentary group does not leave the DPS parliamentary group. The last one to do this is Husni Osman Adem. Thus, the DPS parliamentary group was left with 22 MPs, and the independents - with the exception of Jevdet Chakarov, now have 25. How much is “hot“ in DPS… Tanzer Yuseinov (left) and Ibraim Zaidenov (right) - co-chairmen of the youth DPS - speak to FAKTI.

- Mr. Zaidenov and Yuseinov, how scared are you of Peevski's team at the DPS. This is what we heard Yordan Tsonev say, that they are “big and strong“…
- Irbaim Zaidenov:
No one is bigger or stronger than people. The DPS derives its strength and trust precisely from the citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria. We are in the field among the people and hear their opinions and moods on a daily basis. DPS voters are wise and understand what is currently happening in the party.
- Tanzer Yuseinov: Attempts to conquer a party with a history and an emotional connection between the voters and the honorary chairman Dr. Ahmed Dogan will not succeed. Our voters are very sensitive to this topic and there is no way there won't be a reaction.

- Peevski's DPS vs Ahmed Dogan's DPS. Who's who in this bidding?
- I.Z.:
The movement for rights and freedoms was created by the suffering and pain of the people of an authoritarian regime. There is no way that 34 years later the same management methods will be applied, especially in DPS. We are a democratic party and highly sensitive to any form of unilateral decision-making and authoritarian methods.
- T.Yu.: Dr. Ahmed Dogan is an ideologue and founder of DPS, a recognized leader on a global scale, and that is precisely why we at DPS have no doubts about choosing between Dr. Dogan and anyone else. Our choice is clear and we call on every real dispatcher to stand by our honorary chairman.

- How often do you communicate with the honorary chairman and should we expect him to appear soon to take matters into his own hands?
- I.Z.:
Our honorary chairman is in excellent shape and carefully monitors what is happening in the DPS. Of course, every dispatcher's dream is to see Dr. Ahmed Dogan at the helm and in the operational leadership of the party.

- Is there ethnicization of the problems in DPS?
- I.Z.: DPS and ethnicity? We - from DPS, have been building a country on the basis of the Bulgarian ethnic model created by Dr. Ahmed Dogan for 34 years. Other parties take it for granted at best and/or play on the thin line of the prejudices of the majority, denying the Bulgarian ethnic model, building relations of opposition, division and hatred.

It is a pity that we had such people among us,

who, after about a quarter of a century of building and validating this model, today deny it or make themselves victims.

- Everyone swears allegiance to Ahmed Dogan, but we also hear how there were people who had to go. Who are these people?
- T.Yu.:
The appeal of our honorary chairman is clear. However, it is unfortunate to see people who swear allegiance to Dr. Ahmed Dogan, and their actions prove otherwise. If they really “love, honor, etc.“ our honorary chairman, will heed his call immediately.

- How do you explain to your voters what is happening in the DPS and why it has come to this?
- I.Z.:
The movement for rights and freedoms has a very clear statute that must be respected. Violation of it over the years inevitably leads to internal party problems. In this case, in addition to non-compliance with the statute, there is also an attempt to conquer the party. At such moments, the party's immune system is activated and it reacts like a living organism.

- There is no chairman of the DPS who is not named by Ahmed Dogan – including Peevski (b.r. – he was even called a phenomenon), but only he dared to oppose the honorary chairman. How is Peevski different from Mestan and Karadai?
- T.Yu.:
This is the first case in which the DPS statute,

the values of DPS are crushed in this way.

In all other cases, the collective body has made a decision and the will of our members and sympathizers has been respected. In this case, we see that even the request of our honorable chairman and our structures

is not respected

- We have witnessed the turmoil in DPS when the party came second in the elections. Instead of unity and development, we become witnesses of disintegration. Why?
- I.Z.:
We cannot talk about disintegration, because 28 districts in Bulgaria stand firmly and unwaveringly behind our honorary chairman - as the only and irreplaceable leader.

Disintegration can be talked about when there is a contradiction or opposition as to who is the leader of the DPS, but there is no such topic.

The election result - in itself, is the result of what DPS has been standing for more than 34 years and the hard work of all structures, door-to-door work, etc. “Together with the people“ it's not just a slogan, it's our action. DPS will become even stronger after these events.

- Ahmed Dogan called not to support a GERB minority cabinet, and then the DPS collapsed. Why did the party split?
- T.Yu.:
There was a division in the parliamentary group, because we want the collective bodies to work, and no one has spoken to the collective bodies of the party about support, about a vision for the development of the country. And Dr. Dogan was adamant not to support himself for that very reason. We all want a stable government with a clear horizon,

but we can't sign a blank check.

And going forward, we demand that all political forces sit down at the negotiating table and talk about clear priorities and policies with a clear horizon. That is why we insist upon the handing over of the second mandate, and today we clearly stated this on the occasion of the proposed declaration by PP-DB.

- All structures nominated Peevski for chairman, and now they lose confidence. Are the moods of people supporting DPS so easily changed?
- I.Z.:
Look, we are not against one person or another. We are against the party's governance model. DPS is like a living organism, DPS has a unique instinct for self-preservation. When the collective body does not function, when self-union decisions are made, when people with signatures on white lists are excluded, we cannot remain inactive in these processes!

- Your DPS – of the people around Ahmed Dogan, will he participate in talks to form a cabinet?
- T.Yu.:
Of course we will participate if we are invited.

- How do you view PP-DB's request to delay the mandate by 3 months…
- I.Z.:
We support reforms and anti-corruption measures, but we are also of the opinion that we should receive an invitation as people's representatives of DPS and discuss the issue that concerns Bulgarian society, namely - is it possible in the 50th National Assembly, a cabinet should be formed with a long-term program that would provide a solution to the topics that concern the geopolitical orientation of Bulgaria and, of course, the topics at the national level.

- Does the third term have cabinet options, or is it better to say straight away when the seventh early elections will be…
- T.Yu.:
We are responsible politicians, DPS is a responsible political party, we hear the voice of all Bulgarian citizens and they clearly state that they want to have a government, but with clear priorities. We are ready to respond to talks with the political force that will receive the third mandate.
