The head of state Rumen Radev received “Dondukov“ 2 candidates for acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev. The current caretaker prime minister presents his proposals for the composition of a new caretaker cabinet, bTV reports.
Last week, the president did not accept the composition of the new interim cabinet, proposed by Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva, then nominated for interim prime minister.
She left most of the ministers in the previous official cabinet, and Rumen Radev spoke out against Kalin Stoyanov staying in the Ministry of the Interior and demanded that he be replaced. However, Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva stated that she will not make another proposal.
Dimitar Glavchev suggested that the place of Kalin Stoyanov as interior minister be taken over by Atanas Ilkov.
Even at the handing over of the mandate, Rumen Radev explained that if the cabinet "Glavchev 2" meets the main requirement for such a cabinet - to ensure fair elections, he will sign the decree immediately so that the government can be sworn in before the National Assembly and the elections can be held on October 27.
After the composition proposed by Dimitar Glavchev, Rumen Radev stated that tomorrow morning he will issue the decree on the appointment of the caretaker government and expects it to be sworn in the same day.
The president announced that tomorrow he will also issue the decree on holding early elections on October 27.
Three changes have been made in the composition of the new official authority. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs and Transport have been replaced.
