The first transport of a patient by air ambulance was carried out in Kardzhali. An emergency team landed on a green area in "Prostor" park. The request came to the CSMP in Kardzhali from the hospital in the city this morning, said the director of the Center, Dr. Atanas Mitkov. It is about a woman with a cerebral hemorrhage who sought help at the Kardjalija hospital on her own.
„We organized things as quickly as possible, requested an air ambulance, they approved the request and in coordination with the police, the area was cordoned off. "The patient is already traveling to Sofia," commented Dr. Mitkov. According to him, organizing an air ambulance is easy, with good coordination. He added that the air ambulance will arrive from Kardzhali to Sofia in about 50 minutes.
