Coalition “BSP - United Left” submitted documents for registration in the CEC for the elections in October, Nova TV reports.
"We registered a coalition of parties “BSP-United Left”, which gives its clear request to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections and an excellent result, said Atanas Zafirov.
„I want to thank the leaders of the political parties of the coalition who showed patience and reason and gave us time to deal with the attempt to sabotage the left unity. Everything is fine now. We make a serious request for an excellent result in the elections,”, Atanas Zafirov said.
Before that, he withdrew the registration of the BSP for the vote, made yesterday by those authorized by Cornelia Ninova – Georgi Svilenski and Ivan Chenchev. This happened in the CEC, where Zafirov was accompanied by Maya Manolova.
When asked about the situation surrounding Ninova, Chenchev and Svilenski, who with part of the parliamentary group of the BSP, Zafirov said that they themselves excluded themselves from the party and from political life with their actions. “The decision about them is to be made by the parliamentary group, which is having a meeting today and this issue will also be considered,” said Zafirov.
