The decision of the Supreme Court on DPS-New Beginning could have been expected. There is a law on e-registration and it must be enforced. This court decision is not a surprise. Some time ago there was the same case with electronic registration of the lists of PP-DB in Stara Zagora. Then the court also ruled in favor of PP-DB.
This was stated in the show "Face to Face" on bTV the former Minister of Justice Anton Stankov, who commented on the turmoil in the DPS and today's decisions of the Supreme Court, quoted by novini.bg.
"Clearly shined the flaw of this construction with two co-presidents. It should always be clear who is in charge. Certainly, some processes of reformatting and restructuring are going on in politics. All parties have to draw their own conclusions because it seems that they are losing their connection with the voters. I can't do an in-depth analysis of what's happening in the DPS, and frankly I don't want to," he added.
"I know almost the entire composition of the SJC. These people are emotionally draining. I trust them. The question is not whether you or I trust them, but whether the judicial system trusts them," Stankov said on the topic of whether the current SJC should elect a new chief prosecutor.
