Before the deadline for registration: Chakarov submitted an application for the withdrawal of DPS from the coalition around Peevski - 1

There are applications for the withdrawal of DPS from the coalition “DPS - New beginning”. It was submitted by the other leadership of the Movement, represented by Chakarov. This happened a minute before the deadline for registration, said in the studio of "Hello, Bulgaria" Tsvetozar Tomov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission.
"If there are two representatives with opposing requests, it is possible that Chakarov's request will be respected. We already have an objection against this application. The crisis, which is related to the conflict in the leadership of the DPS, is to the detriment of its voters. Each formation can request a change in the composition of the coalition in which it participates, but everything depends on the coalition agreement," he added.

He also commented on the decision of the Supreme Court to allow the registration of “Movement for Rights and Freedoms– A New Beginning”. "I don't accept all of YOUR arguments. We will see what the consequences of this decision will be. Perhaps we should work from 00:00 a.m. for registration. Documents submitted remotely are valid as long as it happened within the mentioned deadline. In the case of Peevski's coalition, only 1 of the 9 documents that must accompany an application was submitted. The others were imported on paper later", he explained.
According to him, it is technically impossible to submit all documents electronically. Lists are an example of this. "There are requirements that require paper. Who signed up first should never be decisive in an internal political conflict. We do not have a coalition represented by Peevski, other persons represent it - deputies from the DPS authorized by him. "10 days after the deadline for registration, changes in the names of the coalitions are allowed," Tomov pointed out.

In his words, parties and coalitions can use illustrative materials with persons who have given their consent to be on them. "In this sense, DPS has the right to members in the SEC, as a parliamentary party. Coalition “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” there can't be any, since there is no DPS' among the two formations that make it up, commented the deputy chairman of the CEC.
