Peevski: Dogan is no longer part of the DPS - 1

Ahmed Dogan and the people around him are no longer part of the DPS. This was stated by the chairman of the PG of the DPS, Delyan Peevski, on the occasion of the request submitted to the Sofia City Court for his removal as the chairman of the party based on the decision of the Central Operational Bureau of the party from August 27.

"It doesn't matter what these renegades bring in! They are no longer from the DPS, since they are already on the lists of another party. This case is closed. I say it clearly, this person and the people around him are not from the DPS!", said Peevski.

Delyan Peevski accused Ahmed Dogan of running away from a direct fight with him in the pre-election race by not leading the list of the "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" in Haskovo and Blagoevgrad.

"I clearly showed which areas I would be in and registered my lists first. If anyone had the guts, they should have come to my areas. As we know, these faces have no courage and for so many years they have always been hiding behind my back. They are just scared, they ran away cowardly," said Peevski.

The MEP Ilhan Kyuchuk's statement, made on the air of the program "Sunday 150", that he was never a member of the DPS, responded:

"Look, I will not answer little children raised by me.

Peevski accused acting chief prosecutor Borislav Sarafov of inaction regarding reports of corruption by PP-DB representatives:

"We worked together for the Constitution. I'm not denying this thing! I want to see first how the investigations, which to me are being covered up by the attorney general, these theatrics that are being played - how they don't want this attorney general, full theater, will go. He covers them".

You all saw what monstrous things appeared, were swept under the rug. They just don't have any integrity to talk about anti-corruption laws. They don't have the right to talk about such legislation and they don't have the right to touch any structures such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor's Office, the Anti-Corruption Agency, because it can be seen that they are clients of these organizations, but everything is covered up. For me, the Prosecutor's Office is not doing its job, the deputy pointed out.

Delyan Peevski refused to comment on the information that the US has reconfirmed his inclusion in the list of those sanctioned under the "Magnitsky" law, as well as on questions about the bankruptcy of "Bulgartabac".
