Our lists are clear and transparent. There was no real left-wing alternative on this scale. All attempts to consolidate the left have been unsuccessful. All our guides have authority in society, with a proven name. Our formula for successful governance is an expert government with a prime minister equidistant from political forces, with a stable parliamentary majority, with the will to change and with a clear horizon and legislative measure. This is what I.F. chairman of the BSP Atanas Zafirov in the show "The Day ON AIR".
Evgeni Minchev entered the lists of the BSP
According to Zafirov Evgeni Minchev is an interesting person - a person who has shown consistent behavior on topics that the BSP has defended.
"BSP is a party of all people. It is open to all as long as they accept our ideas and our program. There is nothing strange in this application", Zafirov explained to Bulgaria ON AIR.
He is of the opinion that all left-wing parties should be united so that the left-wing voter can have a real choice.
BSP had set three goals
"To stop the wars inside the party, to stop the wars in the left space and the wars in the institutions. These three pages are closed. The left has learned its lesson, it can also generate positive news. The left shows what the model should be in society as well," Zafirov pointed out.
I.F. the chairman of the BSP noted that the parliament is completely exhausted and illegitimate. According to him, it is pointless to make any interpretations because the assembly has had enough time.
How can voter turnout be increased?
According to Zafirov, the low voter turnout totally delegitimizes the institutions.
"The formula is an honest face-to-face conversation with people about the glaring topics. People are interested in income, inequalities, demographic crisis, education, working economy, aridity, lack of labor. Political debate is absent. They deal with fabricated scandals. These are the things that repel Bulgarian voters. We intend to meet exactly the hopes of the Bulgarian citizens", added Zafirov.
