What could be the formula for forming a government after the elections and will it be possible to reach a joint management of GERB-SDS and PP-DB commented on the political scientist and former MEP Svetoslav Malinov and the political analyst Kristian Shkvarek on Nova TV.
„Compared to the previous elections, the good tone between PP-DB and GERB-SDS dominates. All sociological studies show that even if it is mathematically possible, politically we will not be able to have a government if it is not supported by PP-DB and GERB-SDS, said Malinov.
Shkvarek agreed with the political scientist. “The position of PP-DB - “never with GERB“ changed to “maybe with GERD, but not in their mandate“. Now this is undergoing a change again - “ now it can be with GERB, it can be in their mandate, but with an equally distant prime minister”, he pointed out.
Shkvarek believes that GERB-SDS should form a cabinet because “a potential presidential party is almost knocking on the door”. “Everyone in the parliament is threatened by the possible appearance of such a formation, because it can permanently rearrange the cards for years to come,” added the analyst.
Malinov is of the opinion that “the formula that PP-DB is currently developing should be used”. “How will you convince the PP-DB, possibly the “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” and ITN to stand behind a cabinet in which there are prominent political figures of GERB“, he asked.
