Kiril Petkov: I have absolutely no idea what my coach told me at that moment. He just showed support - 1

Kiril Petkov with his first comment on the words of karate coach Yavor Dyankov, with whom they met in front of the prosecutor's office.
“Oh, sensei”, Petkov reacted when he saw him, and Dyankov reassured him: “Let me just tell you in two words - everything is settled, you won't have to worry, it was discussed. Keep your head up, your father and I have figured things out, you know”.
”Sensei” is my karate coach since I was 5 years old, I was happy to see him in front of the prosecutor's office. He was very eager to support me. I have absolutely no idea what he told me at that moment. He just wanted to show support”, Petkov later explained, quoted by Nova TV.

“Even when we were children, he always tried to support us, to glorify all kinds of things. I personally thank him for being there, as well as all the other people, part of the different stages of my life”, the PP co-chairman also said.

According to Petkov, his opponents had to “come up with something” every day. “What haven't you heard about me. Pizza with crystals… Before Christmas I had to go get tested and show that I had never used drugs. They are constantly trying to put us in an excuse regime”, he pointed out.
“Today is a very good day, because we saw how many people have the same dream of having a state governed by law”, he added, referring to the support of the citizens who were in front of the prosecutor's office.

He called on all those who support him to provide him with only moral support. “I ask that any support for me be moral and within the framework of the law. I have not committed any crimes, I am sure that the court will acquit me“, the PP co-chairman also said.

Petkov denied that the sensei has connections in the judicial system. “There are no connections. This man was my sensei when I was 5 years old,” explained Petkov, adding that he told everyone who came to support him in front of the prosecutor's office, including the coach, “Thank you, I count on you.”

After what happened, the co-chairman of the PP clarified that he had not called Dyankov. Regarding his father, Petkov emphasized that he was a biologist. “He is neither a cop nor a mafia. He is a person I can always count on - for love and support,” he added.
