Sofia Airport has called on people who left their cars in the Terminal 2 car park to move them due to starting repairs. It turns out that some of the parked cars have not been started for a long time, are covered in dust and take up space in the covered parking lot, bTV reported.
Some of the cars have been there for more than a year. Their tires have fallen off and they are all covered in cobwebs.
„The total number of these cars, which have been parked for more than a year, is less than 10 at the moment. There are those with Bulgarian numbers and those with foreign ones”, explained Radoslav Todorov, head of the “Parking Operations” at Sofia Airport.
„For the Bulgarian numbers, we cooperate with the Metropolitan Municipality. Some car owners take them out voluntarily, and some have to be repatriated, he added.
One week of stay is BGN 110, and for each subsequent day the fee is BGN 8. Thus, everyone can calculate how much a year's stay will cost them.
Sofia Airport reminds everyone who plans to use the parking lot that the parking of cars should not continue after November 25 due to the upcoming major renovation of the facility.
