At the end of October, the SDVR received a notification from the National Association "Father's Hearth" that a cultural program will be held in front of the National Theater on November 7, with which several people will express dissatisfaction to a play that will be performed there at that time. We have taken measures by increasing security. There were 60 officers of the SDVR dealing with mass disturbances. There was some provocation by theater employees, and we didn't let him get hurt. The situation was immediately brought under control. This was stated at a briefing by the director of the Metropolitan Directorate of Internal Affairs ch. commissioner Lyubomir Nikolov, quoted by Nova TV.
In his words, the metropolitan police had no information that provocateurs and people from football agitations would be present at the event, declared as a cultural event.

„ There was no way to secure a cordon for the people who wanted to enter the theater, since the provocateurs had also bought tickets,”, revealed the Deputy Director of the Security and Defense Security Service, Senior Commissioner Stefan Ivanov. He also confirmed that the situation escalated after theater director Vasil Vassilev went to the protesters. A protest in front of the cultural institution is also scheduled for Friday. According to Senior Commissioner Ivanov, the organization is the same, but more law enforcement officers are involved in its security.

Meanwhile, it became clear that the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office is self-reporting in connection with the clashes in front of the National Theater and is initiating pre-trial proceedings. If there are convicted persons, the indictment added, the punishment provided by the law is imprisonment for up to 2 years, probation and public reprimand.
