The deputies took the first step towards changes in the regulators. The energy committee adopted procedural rules for the election of a new chairman and two new members of the EWRC. The current ones have expired. This happened at today's first meeting of the relevant committee, Nova TV reported.
According to Delyan Dobrev from GERB-SDF, the current head of the EWRC, Ivan Ivanov, has long since expired his mandate. He was already dismissed, but later reinstated due to a disputed procedure for the election of his successor.
Criticism also came from “We Continue the Change”, since the procedural rules were received five minutes before the start of the meeting. In the end, without debate, the proposals were adopted.
