PP-DB wants to dismiss Glavchev as Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts - 1

PP-DB submits a draft resolution to dismiss Dimitar Glavchev as Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts. According to Bozhidar Bozhanov, he does not have the right to return to the post he held before becoming acting Prime Minister:

"Glavchev's formal incompatibility is due to the fact that he held the post of Foreign Minister. With the changes to the Constitution, he was given the right to temporarily hold the post of Prime Minister, but there is no such specification anywhere for the post of Foreign Minister, which is why he currently does not have the right to hold this post. This will create additional problems in the future, since if he takes office and proposes deputies, as the ruling majority is currently proposing, he will not have the right to propose them, respectively, their choice may be challenged and accordingly canceled".

Lena Borislavova added:

"With his actions as acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Glavchev has shown that he does not have the qualities and ability to independently defend the interests he holds, nor to perform the functions of Chairman of the Court of Accounts. With his behavior, he repeatedly favors a specific political party and its leader. Mr. Glavchev lied from the rostrum of the National Assembly that he does not accept orders for appointments in the state from Mr. Peevski, after which it turned out that half of the regional and deputy regional governors in the country were personally appointed by Mr. Peevski through Mr. Glavchev with his signature".

The other example of political dependence on Delyan Peevski is the decision of the Council of Ministers, by which the MRF - New Beginning was granted a new building, due to which three institutions were evicted and additional costs of 4 million were generated due to the relocation.
