Strangers attacked an Afghan man and his wife in Sofia. The husbands were beaten with stones and metal rods in broad daylight in front of their home in Sofia. The attackers were young men and a girl, specified "Nova TV".
Javed Nuri was leaving for work with his wife. In front of the block, he saw a group of boys he didn't know. They seemed suspicious to him and he called 112. According to him, one of the boys was about 16 years old. Three pounced on him with armatures, and his wife was chased down with a huge stone.
Javed hid in a restaurant where he asked customers to call the police. The attackers started threatening him that they will kill him and enter their house.
The Afghan has been living in Bulgaria since 2003. His wife is Bulgarian. She is in shock but in good health. The two live elsewhere and plan to sell their apartment and move.
