Three masked men from Asenovgrad broke into the apartment of a 27-year-old Plovdiv resident and robbed him. Within hours, Plovdiv forensic investigators managed to track them down and detain them, the police department reported. The robbery was discovered after the robbed man reported to the emergency number 112, Nova TV reported.
He explained that masked attackers broke into his home, threatened him and hit him, and then stole 300 leva, two mobile phones and other belongings. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the Third District Court. Criminalists and police officers from the Asenovgrad District Police Department joined the search for the bandits.
On a "hot lead" that same evening, the three Asenovgrad residents, aged between 18 and 41, were arrested. Two of them were criminally charged and convicted. The attackers confessed to the robbery and handed over the stolen goods to the uniformed officers. Work on the case continues under the supervision of the Plovdiv District Prosecutor's Office.
