The operational-search actions were carried out yesterday in the territory of Sofia, after a signal was received at the General Directorate of the National Police for a person engaged in the storage and distribution of narcotic substances from the group of new psychoactive substances.
It was established that the distribution was carried out through orders from an internet site maintained by a 48-year-old criminally active man from Sofia.
In the course of work on the case, a 70-year-old woman was identified and checked in the capital. In the car she was driving, 4 bottles containing various types of liquids, 4 boxes of about 500 empty refills for electronic devices of the "vape" type, as well as 4 metal containers containing liquid (flavors) were found and seized.
The substances found on site were examined and were determined to be 1.5 kg of narcotic substances from the group of new psychoactive substances and 1.5 kg of analogues of NV.
From a subsequent search of the address inhabited by the two, over 300 vapes containing various substances were found and seized, which are subject to subsequent examination for the presence of narcotic substances and their analogues.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case, the work on it continues, with all actions being carried out under the supervision of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office.
