60,000 people gathered at the concert of British pop star Ed Sheeran in Sofia, dariknews.bg reported. The show is part of his world tour The Mathematics Tour.
Since the early afternoon, queues of impatient fans formed in front of the four checkpoints around the "Vasil Levski" National Stadium. Thousands of fans gathered around for the concert. Due to the huge interest in the event, traffic in the area of the stadium is blocked, and the concert itself can be reached through four separate entrances, depending on the seats.
The show started with Bulgarian star Mihaela Fileva, who was chosen to warm up the big concert by Ed Sheeran's team, who will perform their greatest hits on a 360-degree stage.
The star's concert is part of his tour in Asia and Europe. The tour of the two continents is the first since 2019, and the European concerts are a continuation of last year's visit of the singer to the Old Continent.
