An eight-year-old girl from Ohio took her mother's car and drove for more than 20 minutes on busy roads to get to a local store where he went shopping, NOVA reported.
Dashboard footage of a vehicle traveling in the juvenile driver's area shows a man calling police to report a vehicle behind him that was “moving erratically”.
Law enforcement began a search for the child driver and his vehicle and eventually tracked him to a Target store located at least 20 minutes from his home.
The girl was found in the store and his family was called to come pick him up. No one was injured in the escape, but the child reportedly told officers he hit a mailbox during his trip.
