Rapper Eminem announced that his daughter Hailey Jade is pregnant in a touching music video in tribute to their relationship, ABC reported. Home videos dating back to 1999 and photos of the father-daughter duo, along with footage from her wedding in May, are highlighted by the emotional “Temporary“ in the video posted on Thursday.
In a clip from a recent home video, his daughter hands Eminem a T-shirt with the name “Grandpa“ with the number 1 on the back. She also gives him ultrasound pictures and he looks shocked.
Social media influencer Hailey Jade confirmed the news of her pregnancy hours after the video was released on Thursday with an Instagram post. “Mommy and Daddy are looking forward to 2025”, she captioned the post.
Representatives for Eminem, 51, have not yet responded to requests for comment.
The artist of “Lose Yourself“ has always had a soft spot for his daughter, he often mentions her in his songs and there are ones filled with tributes to her such as “Hailie's Song“ and “Mockingbird“.
Jade is Eminem's only biological daughter with his ex-wife Kim Scott. He also adopted two of Scott's daughters from previous relationships.
