Kevork Kevorkian: Target

20 years after our admission to NATO, we only have the crazy optimism of Passi

FAKTI.BG publishes opinions with a wide range of perspectives to encourage constructive debates.

Kirchovtsi can be completely satisfied. No matter how much you consider them the first real comedy troupe in Bulgarian politics, for people who are not even able to express themselves tolerably - whatever you think, they did their job.

They also took care of themselves - and in a unique way, if we remember even just their gas operation with the Russians, after which they certainly already have them as their only “brothers” here.

And this is a well-deserved recognition, since at the height of the Russophobic hysteria, under a regime of all possible sanctions and prohibitions, the people of Kirchov calmly bought Russian gas for 600 million euros.

This commented on "Facebook" Kevork Kevorkian.

But this is only a trifle compared to the other - and that is that the people of Kirchov mercilessly destroyed the local semblance of a political system. After their tour, she's in ruins, they just blew her away - with cheap tricks and even cheaper talk. And so they accomplished their task.

Bulgaria is in an unparalleled political crisis, in an impasse from which there is no way out.

She is like some dribbler who chatters to himself in some incomprehensible language; some orphan who cannot be relied upon in any way.

The tattered political system is incapable of doing anything sensible, it will reside permanently in the sham of continuous snap elections that have no meaning and weight.

Kirchov citizens carnivalized politics. With a maddened but merciless glee they made reasonable dialogue impossible. At the same time, with their quota - as if calculated in some devil's laboratory, they remain the conductors of the impasse.
And now they will calmly play their horse - even more confident, because everyone is aware of who the Rider actually is.

All this would become possible as long as five or sixty thousand naive people, sincerely yearning for some “change”, were deceived. It turned out that three hundred thousand was enough - but for a completely different purpose: the blocking of the political system, without which no country can even function. She becomes a rag with a vassal mentality, fake in every way. For her, it doesn't even matter who supplies her. With some two hundred thousand voices, Kircho will sing it election after election - meanwhile secretly preparing the hymn of the “system players”, as many as are left.

Well done, even three times well done and a brave our “hurray“ for luxury - this is how a country is conquered.

As I write this post, the midday news is on TV - two of them are important. One: from our North-West, already abandoned and brutally wretched, two foreign enterprises are fleeing, and this will leave almost two thousand people without bread. Foreigners were looking for cheaper labor, the wages of our poor people seemed high to them, they would move to Moldova - that's how the horizon of a united Europe expands.

The other news that has been deafening our ears for several days was about the demonstration match between Novak Djokovic and Grigor Dimitrov. We're already freaking out about everything - as if being constantly euphoric will change anything. So we give everything an over-importance - and instead of just enjoying an exhibition match, we burden it by calling it a “historic clash”.

Also good that someone doesn't imagine that we are giving the Serbs an opportunity to get revenge for their loss at Slivnica.

And, in fact, our permanent confrontation is mainly with the Truth, it really has historical dimensions. Finally, she will leave us too - to do whatever we want.

When we see “historical dimensions“ even in the most banal pettiness, it will make us blind to the truly significant, the fateful - something that has already happened. We haven't seen beyond our nose for a long time.

One is the important news these days, but it was quickly swept away somewhere. Here it is:

„Russia will be forced to attack Germany and the US if hypothetical strikes on long-range missile depots in Poland, Romania and Bulgaria do not affect the West...

This was stated by Russian Reserve Major General Sergey Lipovoy, quoted by several Western media...“/end of quote.

Our politicians, busy calculating who is the bigger gentleman, have completely ignored the threat - and it is very real.

The Minsk agreements of 2014 clearly suggested what would happen to Ukraine if they were not respected. Our case is even more clear and elementary: even one inaccurately fired Ukrainian missile hits some military facility on Russian territory, and this can begin our obliteration.

To our “champions” this seems impossible to them. And anything that is more than an arm's length away from their pockets is uninteresting to them. They didn't even comment on the threat. They remain silent even when influential Russian figures are already publicly advising Putin to attack NATO with nuclear weapons.

The Macedonians complained that we did not respect their flag during the visit of their president - but we do not show an iota of pride when they prepare to wave black flags over our heads.

They already look at us like cannon fodder - that brat Podoliak told us in his eyes. The foreign minister of Poland insists that the Ukrainian male refugees should be expelled so that they can join the troops of the "mortals". Senator Lindsey Graham was the first to push to lower the age limit for mobilization in the Ukrainian army. There are others like him - they commemorate with foreign cannon fodder.

We, the Driplovites, are clear and far easier for them. 20 years after our admission to NATO, we only have the delusional optimism of people like Solomon, Poptodorova and their plucked ilk. We celebrate the glorious anniversary with Russian armaments from more than 40 years ago.

Another execution of Bulgarian pilots took place almost before the eyes of the American ambassador - however, he is unlikely to make a connection between it and the apathy with which his country treats the problems in our armed forces, insofar as they are armed at all.

Our ragged country is toothless and completely powerless. However, our military factories are working hard for export and - God forbid! - will probably be the most attractive target for Russian self-destruction.

The state itself has a target painted on its face - a stupid grin.
