Ruzha Ignatova's pyramid continues to operate! Documents indicate that some of the heirs of the crypto-queen run schemes with which they lie to people and earn millions, writes " Bulgaria Today". Scams happen in two ways - through new cryptocurrencies and again through OneCoin.
Two Bulgarians with the initials G.D. are said to be involved in the first scheme. and V.I. Like Ruza, they have created several successor companies under which they continue to offer defunct cryptocurrencies. The fraud is said to be perpetrated from Bulgaria, perhaps even from the former offices of OneCoin.
At the same time, the pyramid built by Ruzha Ignatova continues to use laundered OneCoin assets to commit new scams. Most interestingly, the scheme is already hitting those stung by the crypto-queen once. The frauds are carried out by two other heirs of Ruža. They use the database of Ignatova's company and send messages to those stung by her.
The new scheme
"The new scheme that started in 2023 is as follows: people close to Ignatova, who have worked for her for over 8-9 years, now contact the deceived and offer to help them to they got their money back. For this, they ask for advance fees. This is done through the electronic payment platform that the two old staff from OneCoin have implemented.
Ruzha Ignatova's people want money from the victims, supposedly to prepare documents and start the process of returning the money they lost from the hollow cryptocurrency OneCoin. For each such service, fraudsters ask for between 50 and 100 euros. After receiving the money, they cut off contact with the victim. It is believed that several hundreds of thousands of people have been stung again for the time being under this scheme, and the profits are in the range of millions of euros", the sources explain.
The people who are investigating the case both in the United States and in Great Britain announced that they have evidence of the new frauds and are ready to give them to the Ministry of Justice in our country, as well as to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Sources at the Department of Justice said they had received documents that contained such claims, such as OneCoin continuing to operate but under different names. This is to be investigated and reported to the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, which will take over the case and then consider whether to press charges against the two heirs of Ruzha.
The Beginning of OneCoin
In 2014, Dr. Ruzha Ignatova, who holds a doctorate in private international law, launched OneCoin, promising that the new cryptocurrency would be the killer of Bitcoin.
Over the next several years, Ignatova and her associates traveled the world recruiting victims in one of the largest Ponzi schemes the world has ever seen. At its peak, OneCoin is believed to have had over 3 million members in 175 countries, with the scam netting over $4 billion for Ignatova and her co-conspirators.
In October 2017, Ignatova was last seen in Athens, Greece. The crypto-pharaoh then disappears. There have been many reports of her being spotted in Dubai, Thailand and elsewhere, but none have been officially confirmed.
Because of the latest transaction, which was detected from Hong Kong, the German authorities do not rule out the possibility that Ignatova will continue to operate from Asia. After her disappearance, Ignatova's brother Konstantin, OneCoin co-founder Carl Sebastian Greenwood and his lawyer Mark Scott were arrested.
The FBI and over 3.5 million people worldwide are currently looking for Ruza to return their money. And they are not few at all - according to conservative estimates, the creator of the cryptocurrency OneCoin attracts at least 7 billion BGN from all over the world to its project.
The FBI is currently offering BGN 5 million for information that will lead to the arrest of the crypto-queen, but, in general, the whole world has been looking for her since 2017. For some time there have been rumors that she has been spotted in some places around the world, but this has never been proven.
Persian Gulf
Just a few days ago, lawyer Dr. Jonathan Levy said that Ruzha Ignatova is hiding somewhere in the Persian Gulf.
"That Ignatova is in the Persian Gulf region is one of the theories that is supported by documents we have. The theory that she is dead, as many people believe, is just another lie that is thrown to muddy the waters," says Dr. Levi, a lawyer for some of Ruzha Ignatova's victims.
Whether it will become clear where the crypto queen is hiding and whether she will be caught remains to be seen. According to lawyer Levi Ruzha, it will be discovered sooner or later because the FBI is offering 5 million dollars for information that sooner or later someone will want to get.
The crypto queen is in Cape Town
