The owner of Roma - Dan Friedkin, will buy the elite English team Everton for 475 million euros, reports TuttoMercatoWeb, quoted by BTA.
According to the source, Friedkin will receive as a result of the transaction 94.1 percent of the shares, which currently belong to the current owner of the English club, Farhad Moshiri. It will take more than a month for the Premier League to approve the deal, but no problems are expected. Moshiri is the chairman of the board of directors and a shareholder of USM Holdings. He acquired shares in Everton in 2016.
Friedkin's company Friedkin Group became the owner of Roma in August 2020. According to media reports, the amount of the transaction is around 600 million euros.
