Former world number one in tennis Andy Murray has told what goal he set for himself when he joined Novak Djokovic's team. In November, it became clear that the Scot would be the Serbian athlete's coach until the Australian Open this year, BTA reports.
“In the last few years, Novak has consolidated his title as the best tennis player in history through all the records he has set. In the next few years, he could become the greatest athlete in history if he wins Grand Slam tournaments at the age of 38-39, defeats Carlos Alcaraz and Yannick Sinner in big matches. And I'm interested in being a part of that“, Sky News quotes Murray as saying.
Murray ended his career in 2024 after the Paris Olympics at the age of 37.
