The Bournemouth side prevailed over Arsenal 2-0 in the late Saturday match of the English Premier League, BTA reported.
The hosts were relieved for their success after the red card of William Saliba from the "gunners" in the 30th minute of the match. Arsenal's Mikel Merino was the first to open the scoring shortly after the booking, but he shot wide.
In the 69th minute, Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli's shot was saved by home goalkeeper Kepa Aresabalaga. On the counter-attack, Bournemouth opened the scoring as Justin Kluivert passed to Ryan Christie, who fired into the left corner.
Ten minutes later, Kluivert himself made it 2:0. It was the first defeat for Mikel Arteta's team in the season, with Arsenal remaining in third place, but already overtaken on points by Aston Villa. Bournemouth climbed to tenth position in the standings.
