According to German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock, Russian President Vladimir Putin is heading for a military conflict with the Western military alliance NATO.
"Putin's goal was and is to destroy the existence of Ukraine as an independent, free country and to draw NATO into war," commented Berbok. "However, the German government will never allow this to happen. Putin is not open to arguments and appeals for humanity. And he certainly doesn't want to negotiate," Berbok categorically stated.
