The US military says it has destroyed the air defenses and drone systems of the Yemeni Houthi forces in the Red Sea region. No injuries or damage to commercial, US and coalition ships were reported, reported "Reuters".

The actions by the Houthi rebels, who control the most populated parts of Yemen, are a response to Israel's military operations in Gaza and a show of solidarity with the Palestinians.
