This was announced on Facebook by the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade.
The brigade did not specify the circumstances of the military man's death, stating only that Vasylyuk was piloting a fighter jet.
Earlier, a serviceman from the Ukrainian armed forces emphasized in a conversation with the newspaper Le Monde that the Russian Air Force dominates the sky in the combat zone in Ukraine.
