Salvini and Orbán criticize the European Commission: Eco-terrorists and bureaucrats - 1

The Italian vice-premier and leader of the anti-immigrant party "League" Matteo Salvini, along with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, have sharply criticized the European Commission, accusing it of being run by "eco-terrorists" and "bureaucrats". The two leaders made their statements in front of thousands of supporters of the "League" party. in the city of Pontida, Northern Italy, during the party's annual celebration, reported France Presse, quoted by BTA.

Salvini expressed his concern for Italian farmers and entrepreneurs, saying they were threatened by Brussels' green policies, which he said would lead to the closure of farms and factories in favor of foreign interests. Orbán, for his part, again opposed accepting migrants and warned that he could transport them to Brussels if the European Commission continues to punish Hungary for its refusal to comply with migration treaties.

The two leaders are part of the far-right group "Patriots for Europe" in the European Parliament and have long been in conflict with European Union policies, especially on migration and green initiatives.
