Airplane "Airbus" A Frontier Airlines A321 made an emergency landing at "Harry Reed" (LAS) in Las Vegas on Saturday after pilots reported smoke on approach to land. Passengers on board witnessed flames below the plane as it slowed down on the runway. There were nearly 200 people on board, American media reports, quoted by News.bg.

Passengers were evacuated via stairs and transported to the terminal. Fortunately, there were no injuries among passengers and crew.

After the incident, the plane was towed to an open area of the airport, where investigators will try to determine the cause of the problem.

According to data from Flightradar24, the flight was carried out by an Airbus aircraft. A321 with registration N701FR. It arrived at Las Vegas Airport as flight FFT1326 from San Diego International Airport (SAN). The plane took off a little late at 14:21. A little later, at 2:48 p.m., it began to decrease altitude, approaching Las Vegas.

The plane landed at 15:10 local time, with flames coming out of the right landing gear upon landing. Video footage shows smoke and fire as the plane comes to a stop on the runway, leaving a trail of smoke. Emergency crews quickly arrived at the scene. The investigation into the incident is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the failure.
