Kiev believes a country from the Global South could host a second peace conference in Ukraine, Reuters reported.
More than 90 countries participated in the first conference in Switzerland last week.
„There are several countries that offer hosting, and I can say with high probability that such a meeting can be held in one of the countries of the Global South," said Igor Zhovkva, adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ukraine wants the next summit to be convened before the end of the year, he said. Russia can be invited if it is ready to consider the road map presented by Ukraine and if it does not issue ultimatums, noted Zhovkva.
On June 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia would end the war in Ukraine if Kiev abandoned its ambitions to join NATO and four Ukrainian regions claimed by Moscow and partially occupied by Russian forces. Kiev rejected the demands, saying they were tantamount to capitulation.
