China will not stop further reforms and will follow the path of opening up, despite growing external uncertainty and various challenges. This opinion was expressed by Liu Jun, deputy director of the Institute of Politics and International Relations at East China Normal University, commenting on the decisions of the 3rd Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee) at the 20th convocation.
„The plenum sent a very clear signal that despite growing external uncertainty and various challenges, it will not affect China's further deepening of reforms and widening of opening up,” he said. /p>
The goal of the past plenum was the further improvement and development of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, as well as the modernization of the public administration system, in order to build a high-level socialist market economic system by 2035. "This is of great and crucial importance for China's future development," he believes.
For his part, the executive director of the Chongyang Institute of Financial Studies (PRC) Wang Wen pointed out that important decisions were made at the plenum regarding further comprehensive deepening of reforms. “This shows that China will continue to promote the security and stability provided by the policy of reform and opening up. China with a stable development strategy is beneficial to the whole world”, the expert believes.
„To carry out these reforms and achieve opening to the world, we will continue to implement a number of important measures aimed at promoting sustainable economic growth and economic globalization, which will have the greatest impact on the future of China. "Reforms are not at a standstill, there is no going back on the path of openness," Van Wen said.
The Third Plenum of the 20th CPC Central Committee was held in Beijing from July 15 to 18. It was devoted to the issues of the overall deepening of reforms and the continuation of the modernization of the country. The plenary session heard and discussed the work report presented by General Secretary Xi Jinping on behalf of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, and considered and approved the decision of the CPC Central Committee to further comprehensively deepen reforms and modernization with Chinese characteristics.
