“Rafal“ (Rafale), reported the Belgrade agency Beta, quoted by BTA.
On August 29 and 30, the President of France is expected to pay an official visit to Belgrade. He will have a meeting with Vucic, with whom they will discuss issues related to the economy, healthcare, energy, culture and artificial intelligence.
In an interview with Serbian TV “Pink“ last night, the Serbian president indicated that Serbia will sign an agreement with the French electricity company "Electris de France" (Électricité de France) for electricity supplies. According to him, within ten years, Serbia will no longer have problems with electricity.
Vucic noted that an agreement is being prepared for the purchase of “Rafal“ from France, but it is still “not ready”.
The Serbian president also commented on the speculation in the media about a possible agreement with France to store nuclear waste in Serbia. He emphasized that he did not believe “that anyone would be so naive or stupid to believe this”.
„We don't talk about it, we have laws that prevent it,” he pointed out and added that such an agreement is not in the interest of Serbia.
