The United States does not plan to announce a new policy regarding Ukraine and its use of long-range missiles, the White House said, Reuters reported, citing BTA.
"There is no change in our position regarding the provision of long-range missiles to Ukraine to strike Russian territory,” White House national security spokesman John Kirby told reporters.
"I wouldn't expect any big announcement along these lines from the discussions between US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Sturmer today,” Kirby said.
Kirby also noted to reporters that the US continues to closely monitor North Korea's nuclear ambitions, including Pyongyang's work on ballistic missile development.
North Korea today for the first time showed pictures of centrifuges that can produce fuel to be put into nuclear weapons. The footage was from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's visit to the uranium enrichment site. There, he called for more weapons-grade material to increase the country's nuclear arsenal.
