Two people died in an oil pipeline fire in Russia's Orenburg region, Reuters reported, referring to the regional prosecutor's office, BTA writes.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Russian channels in the application "Telegram" reported the fire yesterday, but it is not yet clear when exactly it broke out, according to Reuters.
According to preliminary information, the fire covered an area of 150 square meters and, in addition to the two dead, four people were injured, TASS reported. Local authorities reported that the fire had been extinguished. They added that the oil pipeline has stopped working and there is no oil spill or threat to the health of people in nearby settlements.
