Volodymyr Zelensky criticizes NATO: So far, only Belarus has shown that it can shoot down Russian drones perfectly

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking at the European conference in Yalta, strongly criticized the allies and said he considered it "humiliating for the democratic world that the allies shoot down missiles and drones in the skies of the Middle east", but they still do not make a similar decision to jointly shoot down Russian missiles and Iranian drones in the sky of Ukraine. A video of his speech was published on the official website of the Presidency of Ukraine.

"Yesterday, the Russian army launched one of its many strikes against Ukraine. It was an artillery strike. It struck the village of Viroliubka in the Donetsk region.

The Russians have seen where they strike. The trucks of the International Committee of the Red Cross were set on fire. Two people were injured by this blow. Unfortunately, three people were killed. My condolences. They were employees of a humanitarian mission and their lives were taken by Russian artillery. And it's a shame, it's a shame to see that the Red Cross in its official announcement is afraid to even say that it was a Russian strike.

"This is our life. But this is their face... But this is not just the truth - this is a Russian strike, Russian terror. Yesterday, the Russian army delivered an equally eloquent blow. A Russian missile hit a civilian ship in the Black Sea. I think it was near Romanian waters. It was a bulk carrier with a cargo of wheat. The port of destination was in Egypt. And luckily none of the crew were killed by that missile. And there was no reaction from Egypt even though it is their food security. But this is how Russia treats Egypt, food security and free shipping - it treats it like a typical terrorist. As long as there are double standards in the field of morality, Putin can look for something other than peace," Zelensky commented.

"When we hear that new missiles have arrived in Russia from Iran, this is the same evil that the Allies had to shoot down in the skies of the Middle East before. Now the brand of the missiles may be different, but not the terrorist motive of Iran, which is behind the distribution and use of these weapons," Volodymyr Zelensky emphasizes.

"If the allies shoot down missiles and drones together in the skies of the Middle East, why is there still no similar decision to shoot down Russian missiles and Iranian Shahed type missiles together? in the sky of Ukraine? And this is not done even when missiles and drones are sent literally into the territory of our neighbors.

And when we raise this issue with our partners, all the time, by the way, they all try to just, frankly, overrule it. And they are afraid to even say: "We are working on it". They are afraid to even say these words. And this is true," commented the Ukrainian president.

"Until now, only Belarus has distinguished itself by shooting down Russian drones of the Shahed type." I didn't think it would be in this format... This really, in my opinion, is simply humiliating for a strong democratic world," adds Zelensky.
