Kremlin: NATO's reaction is dangerous! - 1

NATO's desire to ignore Vladimir's words Putin on the consequences of attacks with Western weapons against Russia is extremely dangerous and provocative. This was warned by Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, reports RIA Novosti.

"Such an ostentatious desire not to take the statements of the Russian president seriously is an absolutely short-sighted and unprofessional step," Peskov stressed.

In an interview with the British newspaper The Times, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that giving Kiev permission to launch long-range missile strikes deep into Russia would not be a red line leading to escalation. He added that he supports countries, including the United Kingdom and France, which have advocated giving the relevant permission to Kiev.

Peskov is rather inclined to attribute these words "to the departure of Mr. Stoltenberg”, indicating that he will soon no longer be responsible for his statements.

Last week, Putin stressed that NATO was discussing not only the possibility of the APU using Western long-range weapons, but also direct involvement in the conflict. According to the Russian head of state, Ukraine is already striking the country with drones and other means. As for the use of high-precision long-range Western-made weapons, it should be understood that such operations are carried out with the participation of military personnel of the Alliance countries, since only they can carry out flights in missile systems, Putin expressed confidence.< br />
He emphasized that the direct participation of the West in the conflict will significantly change its nature and will mean that NATO members - the US and European countries - are at war with Russia. Moscow will make decisions based on the threats that appear before it, he added.

As the Kremlin spokesman noted, Putin's statement about the consequences of Russia's deep strikes was extremely clear and unequivocal and "there is no doubt that it reached its addressees”.
