Ukraine army attacks Russian depots for ammunition in the Krasnodar region and Tver region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced in a Facebook post, cited by Ukrinform and France Press, BTA reported.

"This night the Tikhoretsk Arsenal in the Krasnodar Territory was attacked by Ukrainians. This facility is one of the three largest munitions storage bases of the invader and is one of the key to the logistics system of the Russian forces," the statement said.

According to the General Staff of Kyiv, another train set that delivered at least 2,000 tons of ammunition, including those from North Korea, was on the territory of the warehouse during the attack. The "Podlyot" radar station, which is part of the air defense of the base, was also attacked.

Military in Kyiv added that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) struck the 23rd arsenal of the Main Directorate "Artillery" of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the area of the Oktyabarsky settlement in the Tver region.

Fires and explosions broke out on the territory of both warehouses.

"The tasks were successfully completed thanks to the concerted actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, in particular the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, SBU and others. Combat work to strike important military targets of the Russian invaders continues," the General Staff said.

As previously reported, last night a drone attack in the Tikhoretsk region of the Krasnodar Territory hit an ammunition depot, after which a fire and explosion broke out on the territory of the facility.

Unverifiable footage was posted on social networks showing large explosions and huge clouds of black smoke, notes AFP.

Regional authorities in the Kranodar region (in southwestern Russia) earlier ordered an evacuation after a fire involving a Ukrainian drone. Those in the Tver region (in western Russia) also said they were attacked.

However, the administration of neither Russian region nor the other did not mention who was the target of the strikes, in which, according to their data, there were no victims.

The Minister of Civil Protection and Emergencies of the Krasnodar Territory, Sergey Shtrikov, announced that evacuated residents from settlements in the vicinity of the city of Tikhoretsk will be able to return to their homes for up to two days, as long as demining activities are expected to continue , TASS reported.

"We will have to wait a day or two until the situation calms down: the rumbling has stopped there, but demining has to be done to be safe," he said.

There are a total of 1,200 evacuated residents.

On Wednesday, Ukraine claimed responsibility for the destruction of a missile and artillery ammunition depot in Toropets, Tver region. According to Kiev, ballistic missiles, guided aerial bombs and artillery ammunition were stored there.

Then the Russian authorities reported a "fire", without mentioning a weapons depot, and ordered a temporary partial evacuation of the population in the vicinity, France Press recalls.

Drones sent by the SBU have hit the Russian air base "Shaykovka" in the western Kaluga region, Ukrinform also reported. According to the announcement, Tu-95M strategic bombers are based there, which regularly strike Ukraine.
