Donald Trump: Don't trust the polls, Kamala Harris leads convincingly - 1

Further pre-election debates with the US Democratic presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, are pointless, as she has publicly stated that she does not intend to change anything in the course of the current head of state Joe Biden.

This was stated by the presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, on his page in the social network "Truth".

Fox News has offered the former president a debate with Harris on October 24 or 27. Trump noted that he accepted the TV channel's previous invitation for a new round on September 4, while Harris, he said, declined.

The politician stressed that he is currently leading the polls and his lead over Harris is increasing every day, especially in key swing states. Polls by Quinnipiac and Emerson show that is the case, while national polls by The New York Times and Siena show a slight lead for Harris (49% to 46% for Trump).

Trump recalled the debate between his vice presidential running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, against Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz, the running mate with Harris. To them, Trump said his vice presidential nominee "effortlessly won" your opponent.

"It's too late for a rematch. The vote has already begun and the debate will not change the result," Trump further explained his position.

The debate between Trump and Harris took place on ABC on September 10. According to a CNN and SSRS poll, 63 percent of registered voters gave Harris the win. Trump described his opponent as a loser and said he had "the best debate in history". He refused another round, while Harris expressed readiness for it.

The debate would be the third for Trump, but the second for Harris, as it also counts the first debate held - with Joe Biden, before the incumbent dropped out of the race for a second term in the White House. It was his poor performance in the debate that led to Biden bequeathing the Democratic nomination to his vice president.

The US presidential election will be held on November 5.
