Three days after the start of the war - on June 16, Israeli planes hit a building associated with Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Fars news agency reported.
The attack caused a power outage and participants in an emergency meeting, including Pezeshkian, were evacuated. Several people, including the president himself, suffered leg injuries.
According to Pezeshkian himself, the incident may have been related to a leak of information from Iranian intelligence services. The Fars news agency said that Iran is discussing a possible "insert agent" version.
A video clip has also appeared in Iranian media, purporting to show the aftermath of the shelling - strikes on a mountainside in western Tehran, where the attacked complex is located. There has been no official comment from Israel on the incident yet.
