A village in Switzerland, which last year attracted global attention when it had to be evacuated due to the risk of rock masses collapsing from the mountain at the foot of which it is nestled, has been evacuated again for the same reason, Reuters reported.
Last year, the landslide of rock masses did not affect the village of Brienz. However, the risks are now high and local authorities have ordered an evacuation.
84 people live in the village, which is in Eastern Switzerland, BTA specifies.
Last year they were evacuated on May 12, and the rock slide then passed the village a month later.
