The search continues for another person who is missing without a trace after an underground gas pipeline exploded in Bankya and the explosion destroyed a house, BNR reported.
A body was found under the rubble yesterday, which the police assume is the missing 58-year-old woman who was being searched for after the explosion. The director of the Sofia Police, Senior Commissioner Lyubomir Nikolov, said that dogs are also involved in the search:
"We still have no data on the man. He is a missing person. We assume that as a result of our search and rescue operations, we will soon find him too".
Senior Commissioner Nikolov specified that there is no danger of a repeat explosion and gas leak in the area. Due to the danger of the neighboring house collapsing, which was severely affected by the explosion, the area has been secured.
