At the center of In the Serbian capital, Belgrade, posters appeared depicting a map of "Greater Serbia", which also includes the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia. The posters, put up on Monday, included images of US President-elect Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk. Beneath their images is a slogan adapted from the Trump campaign “Make America Great Again” – here interpreted by the far-right movement "Nashi" as “Let's make Serbia great again”, reports BGNES, quoted by News.bg.
According to an official announcement by "Nashi", the map represents the "historical Serbian lands". Through this action, the movement emphasizes the need for Serbia to take its “rightful place” in the Balkans and internationally, by correcting the “historical injustices” inflicted on the Serbian people over the past decades.
The movement "Nashi" expresses support for Trump, whom they perceive as a defender of national sovereignty and an opponent of globalist currents that, according to them, threaten national interests. “Serbia must restore its greatness and strength”, the formation emphasizes, adding that the country must return to the territories that "historically belong to it".
BGNES points out that the ruling regime of President Aleksandar Vucic often highlights his “close relations with people from Trump’s entourage”, including Trump’s son-in-law – Jared Kushner, and former US ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell.
