The actions and decisions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) are crucial to stopping Israel's continued aggression against Palestine and Lebanon, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. Erdogan, who was in Riyadh yesterday to participate in the joint summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, also held a bilateral meeting with Prince Salman.
The Turkish president discussed with the Saudi Crown Prince a number of regional and international issues, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.
Underlining the importance of unity and solidarity among Muslim countries to stop Israeli attacks on Palestine and Lebanon, President Erdoğan recalled that Turkey had taken an initiative to impose an arms embargo on Israel within the UN in order to end of Israeli aggression.
The Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency informed that Erdogan arrived late last night in Baku to participate in the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
