The military helicopter involved in the Washington plane crash was flying too high during the incident that killed 67 people. This was stated by US President Donald Trump, quoted by "Reuters".
"The "Black Hawk" helicopter was flying too high, too high. It was well above the 200-foot limit. That's not too complicated to understand, is it???", Trump wrote on his social network Truth Social.
The crash continues to be investigated by federal transportation authorities.
Earlier today it became clear that the plane's black boxes have been found.
Yesterday, Trump blamed the crew of the military helicopter for the tragic incident.
"It was a very clear night - cold, but as clear as possible. The "American Airlines" plane had all its landing lights on", he noted.
"There are things that could be questioned, such as the altitude of the helicopter, that of the plane, which is at the same level but moving in opposite directions. That is not positive," he commented, without it being clear what exactly he meant.
