Borislav Sarafov is illegally disposing of state funds and must be detained, the chairman of “We Continue the Change“ (PP) Assen Vassilev told journalists, during a meeting of the youth structure of the formation taking place in Sofia, quoted by novini.bg

The mayor of Varna and municipal councilors have been detained for more than two months because of the words of "one Plamenka" that they might do something in the future for an indefinite period of time. The country's Supreme Court of Cassation said that Sarafov has not been acting prosecutor general since July 21, but continues to dispose of over 40 million leva per month from all our taxes, commented Vassilev.

This is a crime in office and abuse of power. So, if the same standard is followed, they should detain him while the investigation is ongoing, as they did with the mayor of Varna Kotsev, he added.

At the moment we see that the mafia has dug in. There is an attempt to resist normal citizens and the rest of the normal institutions in the state. The good thing about this is that all the mafia gates were visible, Vassilev also said.

The formation announced earlier that they had sent a signal to several institutions.

According to Assen Vassilev, it has become known that the testimony of the former deputy mayor of Varna Dian Ivanov was given under pressure and he was threatened.

People without a conscience, completely subordinate to the mafia, are mocking human destinies, Vassilev also pointed out.

This battle that is being waged for the future of Bulgaria is extremely important. Will it be a normal, rich country with rules, or will it continue to be a poor country that is governed by phone calls. It also involves young people also fighting for the rights that they have. In this direction, I also call on all Bulgarian citizens to support the young doctors on Tuesday in their protest for fair pay for all people in healthcare, the PP chairman also noted. Vassilev pointed out that this is not so much a matter of money as of political will to make it happen.
