Cloudy weather with precipitation will prevail in Bulgaria this week, with the most intense rains expected around October 20. A series of Mediterranean cyclones will bring variable weather with a risk of temporarily intense autumn rains, NOVA reported.
On Monday, the meteorological situation will be without any particular changes. Cloudiness will be dynamic, with foggy conditions in the early hours. During the day, the clouds will be more broken in Northern Bulgaria and thicker south of the Stara Planina Mountains. Precipitation is not expected. Winds will blow from the northwest again, and daytime temperatures will remain between 15 and 20-22 degrees.
The calendar middle of the month will be marked by a cold atmospheric front with variable cloudiness. Precipitation will be local in nature. On Tuesday, such are expected in the Northeast and here and there in the mountains. On Wednesday and Thursday, rains will cover the southern and eastern regions.
Temperatures this week will remain in the daily range of 15-20 degrees on Monday and Tuesday. During the week, they will slightly drop to 11-16 degrees on Thursday and Friday.

On Monday, the precipitation zone will cover almost all of Bulgaria with watering, sometimes temporarily intense, autumn rains.

Due to the specifics of these whirlwinds, intense and prolonged precipitation in serious quantities with a risk of flash floods cannot be ruled out.
