Chaos will occur in the healthcare system with the decision to raise money for young doctors through laws, and not through collective bargaining. This was stated by the chairman of the Federation of Healthcare Trade Unions of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions (CITUB), Dr. Ivan Kokalov, in "The Day Begins" on BNT. This week, the head of the National Revenue Agency must explain why the revenue agency cannot collect all health insurance contributions, Kokalov also said.
"But the big problem, that's why I'm not reacting at least until we enter the eurozone, because it's a big event, but then there will be total chaos in healthcare, because healthcare has many categories of staff and I don't know how salaries will be determined for them without collective bargaining and how, in fact, the starting salaries of some doctors who are now starting their careers will exceed the salaries of people with one and two specialties who have 10 or more years of work experience, in other words, chaos is being created and I don't know if anyone realizes what abyss healthcare is being pushed into," commented Ivan Kokalov, member of the Supervisory Board of the National Health Insurance Fund, Confederation of Bulgarian Unions of Trade Unions.
