Rumen Ovcharov: Radev will not be the savior of Bulgaria

According to him, a large part of the BSP will go to Radev

Former Minister of Energy Rumen Ovcharov commented on the show "Denyat ON AIR" that Rumen Radev is not new news in politics and if he wanted to do something, he would have done it by now.

"I don't think he will be the savior of Bulgaria", said Ovcharov. According to him, a large part of the BSP will go to Radev.

Ovcharov is of the opinion that new leadership cannot change the face of the party.

He predicted to Bulgaria ON AIR that a large part of the former BSP voters will orient themselves towards Radev. "We will observe the same metamorphoses. "I expect metamorphoses in both GERB and PP-DB," said the former Minister of Energy.

Ovcharov believes that this will not end well and we are entering a spiral of elections, since there is "nothing new on the political scene". When asked if there is a problem in the sixth unit of the "Kozloduy" NPP, Ovcharov replied that there is, and it is "very serious".

In his words, we cannot cover the power balance - we have lost 373,000 megawatt hours.

"In two and a half years, the plant has been shut down 8 times," said Ovcharov, emphasizing that production is declining.
